I, myself, am strange and unusual

Binx blinked up at her, green eyes wide. “Dating a ghost? I do have that correct, don’t I? Courting? But…” He stopped himself abruptly and looked down. “Sorry, I suppose it’s none of my business, is it?”

A bit more calmly, he answered her questions regarding food after a pause. “Just water is more than fine, and fish would be lovely, thank you. They’re harder to catch than mice.”

“Yes, dating, courting if you want to call it that,” She said with a half amused, half lovestruck look. “No, it’s alright. What were you saying?” She asked when he stopped.

She nodded and put some water in a bowl and placed it on the floor before heating some fish up in the microwave. “What time period are you from?” She asked with curiosity after he had drunk some.

“Er…just that it seems a bit…difficult,” he explained awkwardly, still looking down. Then again, perhaps he was not one to talk, with his penchant for spending too much of his time in the graveyard with his loved ones. He gratefully took a drink as an excuse to be quiet for a moment.

“Twas the year 1693 when I was last human, if that’s what you’re asking,” he answered.

"It is, mostly with all the rules for the dead," She said thoughtfully. 1693? "Where did you say you were from?" She asked. Lydia remembered reading about the Salem Witch trials as a girl and had become fascinated with the story.

“You know ghosts?” he asked, following her inside. He gave a small laugh at the comment about her stepmother’s cooking. “I’m technically a stray. I assure you I’m not picky when it comes to food.”

“Two live here, actually and I’m dating another,” She said nonchalantly. It was nothing unusual anymore (to her, at least). She genuinely liked this cat a lot. “I do think we have some fish that Barbara fixed. I can heat it up for you or would you prefer it cold? We also have milk and water if you’d like one of those?”

The Strange and Unusual (Edward and Lydia)

scissorhands-and-snow:

The cobwebs that lined the ceilings and furniture throughout the castle grew a little bigger every day. Edward didn’t mind. It seemed that his only company was spiders, so he couldn’t really complain. Besides, he rather enjoyed watching their diligent work. The webs they created were quite beautiful, especially in the morning sunlight as the dew still clung to them. He stood at the base of the winding staircase admiring the work they had done to the statue there. The silver threads hanging off the statue’s arms gave it a peculiar charm.

A noise coming from just outside the door caught Edward’s attention. It sounded like a clicking sound. Something completely unfamiliar and strange to his ears. His heart almost stopped beating as he anxiously stood still, waiting to see what it was. Perhaps Kim had come back to him after all. That thought made his breath catch in his throat as he intensely gazed at the door.

Lydia had found herself in a quaint little town, though it was much too colorful for her tastes. She had walked through the forest for a while and arrived. A few people had called her Kim as she walked the sidewalks and took pictures, which confused her thoroughly. Though they seemed confused as well for some reason.

She was looking through the lens of her camera when she spotted the old castle at the very top of a hill and immediately set off for it, unable to control her sense of curiosity and excitement. Walking the winding path up the hill and to the top, she was amazed to see all of the wonderful bush sculptures around it. Lydia had begun a camera clicking frenzy and stopped when she reached the door. She walked up the few steps and knocked, saying a nervous “Hello?” after the echoing of her knocks had faded.

((Just announcing that I’m not really on hiatus, I just never get RP requests from anyone. I’d like to start threads, but I don’t know who’s willing to RP with me or not and I’m a bit behind on all the new members of Twisted RP who have joined and the ones who have quit. So I’m just kind of stuck here in a corner. I’ve sent some thread requests, but some never got back to me and others fell through, so I need people to come to me. If not, I’ll just have to give up Lydia completely. I still have some threads to figure out with BJ and I have one going with Binx (Barbara, I probably lost ours in the mix somewhere because I do that), but yeah.))

OOC:

I would really appreciate if everyone that would like to RP with me would tell me what days they’re on their roleplaying accounts the most. I’m a very schedule oriented person, so scheduling 1-2 days out of the week for roleplaying would be a lot easier on me than randomly getting on and having no one else be on. Also, if I seem to have forgotten our thread, please send me a message and remind me because that will happen often >.<

Thanks, everyone!

“I would like that, yes, thank you,” said Binx, perking up; it was rather chilly. “And if I may ask…what is it that you’re used to, then?”

“Ghosts,” She clarified as she got up and held the back door open for him. “Someone that can’t die isn’t exactly what I’m used to.” She closed the door behind them and removed her black coat, placing it on the back of a chair.

“Would you like something to eat or drink? My stepmother has been trying to cook so we have almost everything you can think of. The key word being ‘trying’.”

“You know ghosts?” he asked, following her inside. He gave a small laugh at the comment about her stepmother’s cooking. “I’m technically a stray. I assure you I’m not picky when it comes to food.”

turnupthegeuse asked: Betelgeuse snorted, "'Cause Juno is a dragon and doesn't understand the meaning of "love" nor "fun." That's why!"

Lydia laughed. “Says the guy that can shape-shift into one,” She said and pulled him to her for a kiss.

turnupthegeuse asked: "Well, nothin' you wouldn't understand. You read the Handbook, right? Relationships between the Living and Spirits are supposed to be *spooky fingers* 'FORRRRRRBIIIIIIDENNNN' yada yada yada and so on."

"I got that. I meant that I’m pretty much keeping you out of trouble, so why is our relationship bad?"

turnupthegeuse asked: "Yeah! You too, Babes? I'm sorry she dragged ya into this..."

"I just don’t understand what’s going on."

turnupthegeuse asked: *grumbles* "Stupid... Juno..."

"Has she been harassing you too?"
